Vologda residents can see Belovskaya Tymonikha in VR format (12+)

In Vologda on October 21, a virtual 3D tour will be shown in Timonikha “To the homeland of Vasily Belov”. The event will be held in the first model library of the city "Book Express" in the framework of the XIII All-Russian Belov Readings "Belov". Vologda. Russia, timed to the birthday of the classic of “village prose”.

The virtual tour was developed by the staff of the Centralized Library System of Vologda together with ANO Vologda Reading. The village of Timonikha, Kharovsk district, where the writer was born, is far from the regional and district centers. Not everyone can get there. That is why the idea to create a virtual tour came up.

Participants will be able to wear VR glasses and see panoramic views of Timonikha: Lake Forest, Sokhotskaya Church, the surroundings of the village from a height, as well as “enter” the writer’s home and feel the atmosphere of village life.
