In Ivanovo opened an exhibition of artist Evgenia Zharycheva

It is called “Territory of Love” and is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the artist. The exposition is represented by tapestries, including those made in the traditional technique of linen weaving from cotton and melange, painting, graphics and patchwork sewing.

Evgenia Borisovna Zharycheva was born in Ivanovo. For more than 45 years she taught at the Ivanovo Art School. She also gave lectures “Drawing”, “Painting and Color Science”, “Composition” to ISUE students.

In addition, she was engaged in the design and decoration of interiors, led creative groups on weaving, batik, collage and mosaic. Evgenia Zharycheva is a member of the Union of Designers of Russia and a permanent member of the expert council of the regional competitions “People’s Master of Ivanovo Region” and “Master – Golden Hands”.

At the exhibition you can buy the works of the master, which will help Evgenia Borisovna financially - in recent years, the artist almost lost her sight.
