In the publishing house “Boslin” published a book about Ivanovo cotton

It is called “Ivanovo calico: from fishing to industry”. The authors of the publication, which was the result of many years of studying the technology of hand-stuffing, are employees of the Ivanovo Museum of Calico and the Museum named after Dmitry Burylin Galina Karev and Julia Blavdzevich.

The book devoted to the history of Ivanovo sitzenabive production from the end of the XVII century to the first half of the XIX century presents photographs of unique fabrics from the museum funds - the richest heritage of a well-known patron of art.

The authors hope that their work will be a good starting point for new scientific research.
