In Kaluga presented the Flemish masterpiece from the Hermitage

Today in Kaluga opened an exhibition of the painting by Frans Sneiders “Fight of a rooster with a turkey” from the collection of the State Hermitage.

The project, which is implemented by the Kaluga Museum of Fine Arts from the region, is presented in the Blue Living Room of the Museum.

Kaluga citizens and guests of Kaluga had the opportunity to see the pearl of Flemish art of the XVII century and learn what meaning lies behind the depicted confrontation of birds.

The curator of the exposition within the framework of the Hermitage Days in the Kaluga region is a researcher at the State Hermitage Museum Vladislav Statkevich.

The exhibition will run at 104 Kaluga, Lenina until 14 February 2027.
