On October 13-14, the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of KFU holds an international conference “G. R. Derzhavin and the Dialectic of Cultures”, the organizers of the event inform.
The scientific forum will present more than 250 speakers and listeners. Together with scientists from research centers of Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Ryazan, Arkhangelsk and others), foreign guests from China, Kyrgyzstan, Colombia present the results of their research.
Alexander Polikarpov, Head of the Russian and CIS Translation Council, will deliver a plenary report and greetings on behalf of the Union of Translators of Russia.
On the eve of Candidate of Philosophy, Leading Researcher, Head of the Center for the Study of Informatics INION RAS Yuri Cherny led a master class on slow reading of the poet’s message “Eugene”. Life of Zvanskaya.
There is also a cultural programme. The conference is also attended by students, undergraduates and graduate students, school teachers.
The forum was organized with the financial support of the state program “Preservation, study and development of the state languages of the Republic of Tatarstan and other languages in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2023-2030”. Derzhavin conferences have been supported since the 2010s.
