In the club "Constellation" there were educational events for children, where first-graders from the school of the village of Seekers and pupils of the Child Development Center got acquainted with the Nenets people. Boys and girls learned about the traditional occupations of tundra, about what clothes adults and children wear in harsh winter, how the Nenets plague works.
In the year of the 140th anniversary of the birth of Ilya Konstantinovich Vylka (Tyko Vilki), the children learned about the life of an outstanding countryman. Tyko Vylka is a Nenets artist, storyteller, socio-political figure, conductor and participant of polar expeditions, an amazing and talented person, the son of Novaya Zemlya. With interest, the young guests considered the paintings and drawings of Tyko Vylki, as well as the creative works of the participants of the contest “The District through the eyes of children”, dedicated to him.
The organizers thanked the guests for their activity and interest in their native land.
