A bright gala concert and the transfer of a symbolic relay ended the solemn program of the XXXIII Day of Belarusian Writing in Kostyukovichi on September 5, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

- I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the leadership of our country for the right granted to us to host the XXXIII Day of Belarusian Writing. This holiday for us is not just a date in the calendar, but a real symbol of love for the native word. Today we are pleased to pass the baton of the Belarusian Written Language Day to another region, Natalia Osmolovskaya, Chairman of the Kostyukovichi District Executive Committee, solemnly announced.
So, to the applause of the guests, Kostyukovichi passed the symbolic relay Molodechno. Representatives of the city were awarded the pennant of the Day of Belarusian Written Language, and already in 2027, Molodechno will take one of the main literary holidays of the country.
The square was filled with melodic and soulful music. Tender compositions were replaced by bright vocal numbers, and the emotional performance of the artists forced the audience to forget about everything for a while and completely immerse themselves in what is happening.

- I’m 22 years old and have attended various concerts. I have been to St. Petersburg and Minsk, but I have never seen such an interesting and original vocal concert in my life. It was a concert where I didn’t want to leave my seat. I even felt sorry to step back to take a picture. Music, songs and dancing so fascinated me that I completely forgot my name and where I am, said the guest of the holiday Maria with a smile.

Red, blue, orange and pink lights shimmered in the evening air, shimmering to the beat of music. Light from the stage, noisy applause and animated voices of guests merged into one beautiful picture. It seemed that the city itself lived in a completely different rhythm, confirming its special status as the capital of Belarusian writing.

The party for the guests did not end there. Many continued to stroll through trade and thematic platforms, get acquainted with literature and consider ancient books. Even with the onset of darkness, Kostyukovichi streets remained filled with people, conversations and a charged mood.
- I walk along the shopping streets with my daughter, see what interesting regional literature is, study historical exhibits. It was a very pleasant evening: there are so many people here, the city lives very differently today. It can not but rejoice, said the local resident Olga.
At the end of a long festive day, fireworks thundered over the city.
