In the periodicals hall of the Ivan Bunin Oryol Regional Library, an exhibition “Being a father is not easy at all” (6+) dedicated to Father’s Day is held. The exhibition opened on October 14 and will last until October 28.
The exhibition presents articles from magazines and newspapers telling about the history of the holiday and its meaning. Anyone can visit the exhibition.
MK in Orel reminds that this holiday is celebrated on the third Sunday of October and is designed to emphasize the importance of the father’s role in the family. The initiative to create this date appeared at the first All-Russian Forum of Fathers in Yekaterinburg in 2019.
