In the Penza Museum of local lore show new arrivals of recent years

Penza Museum of Local Lore presented the exhibition project “Gifts of Time”. New acquisitions of the museum”. Funds of the institution number more than 140 thousand items, and their number is constantly growing - collecting work remains one of the key areas of activity.

The exposition acquaints visitors with objects related to different periods of the region’s history. Here you can see photos and memorial items of the XIX - early XX century, objects of Soviet urban and rural life, learn about the fashion of the late XX - early XXI century and sports achievements of fellow countrymen.

Particular attention is drawn to the tablet, showing how an ordinary household item turns into a museum value. Those wishing to replenish the collection can fill in a special card and drop it in the feedback box. In addition, guests can be photographed in the photo zone “Visiting the grandmother”, where typical household items of the 70-80s of the last century are collected.

The exhibition works in the Penza Museum of Local History on Krasnaya Street, 73 until the end of January 2027.
