In the Pestov district, an inter-municipal festival was held in honor of the Day of Bread

In the Pestovo district, in the Okhon House of Culture, an inter-municipal festival was held today in honor of the Day of Bread "From fresh to the Pestovo region". The project is being implemented as part of the XIX regional competition of innovative creative projects Novgorodika, the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Novgorod region reported.

The ensemble “Babye Summer” met the guests of the festival with a song and a traditional caravan. Folklore ensemble "Karagod" invited everyone to take part in ancient rituals: participants grinded flour with their own hands and went out to sow the field. And the masters held a lesson for children, where they showed how to make a “bread man”.

And in the Old Russian district today staged fun contests for fathers of families in honor of Father's Day.
