On November 11, at 19:00, a concert dedicated to Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov will be held in the Pskov Regional Philharmonic. About this "MK in Pskov" reported in the Theater and Concert Directorate.
Pskov land was a source of inspiration for the composer: in the estates of Vechash and Lyubensk, he created “Sadko”, “The Tsar’s Bride”, “The Tale of Tsar Saltan” and “Golden Cockerel”. Today these places have become a museum-reserve.
In the first part of the concert, excerpts from the opera Sadko will be performed. In the second – “Concerto for piano and orchestra” and “Fantasy on Russian themes for violin and orchestra”.
