In Ryazan for the first time performed dance theater artists from Karachay-Cherkessia

In Ryazan, within the framework of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, a performance of the choreographic dance theater of the State Philharmonic of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic was held. This was reported in the press service of the regional Ministry of culture.

The concert program called “In the Whirlwind of Dance” was presented to the audience on the stage of the Ryazan Regional Philharmonic. The event was organized within the framework of the Federal program “We are Russia” of the All-Russian tour and concert plan of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The project is aimed at combining the touring activities of national choreographic and choral groups, orchestras of folk instruments and song theaters.

The program included thirteen large-scale choreographic compositions. Viewers saw traditional incendiary lezginki and dagger dancing, as well as lyrical, narrative scenes. The performances revealed the richness of the folklore heritage of Karachay-Cherkessia and the peoples of the North Caucasus.
