In Smolensk will open the exhibition “Light and Faith”

The Tenishev Cultural and Exhibition Center in Smolensk invites citizens and guests of the city on October 22 at 16:00 at the World Opening of the exhibition of artistic performances “Light and Faith”. The exposition presents the works of professors of the Academy of Watercolor and Fine Arts Sergey Andriyaki – Svetlana Zhigalova and Vera Nazarenko.
In the halls of the center will be presented more than 130 images made in various techniques and materials: graphics, painting, interior items and ceramics. Exhibition of solutions of authors of a variety of creative approaches.
On the artists:
Svetlana Zhigalova is the author of the program “Fundamentals of painting and decoration of art ceramics” of the Sirius Educational Center. It works in a wide range: from painting and graphics to ceramics, textiles and decorative arts.
Vera Nazarenko is a teacher of the School of Watercolors since 2003, leading an active methodological work. Her work is dominated by still lifes, portraits and landscapes of Russia and Europe, which she performs in the technique of multi-layered classical watercolor, differing in harmonious color and delicate transitions of light shade.
