In the Old Russian district celebrated the 55th anniversary of the Bureg House of Culture

The Bureg House of Culture is 55 years old. Today, the honorary guests gathered for the celebration, thanked the employees of the DC for their work and wished the institution further development, the press service of the administration of the Starorussky municipal district reported.

The building for the club was built in 1971. The first leader was 25-year-old Valentina Nikitina. She worked on the site for 37 years and turned a conventional institution into a main attraction for the villagers.

In recent years, the House of Culture has significantly changed. In 2021, under the program to support local initiatives, the roof was completely replaced here, and in 2024, thanks to the People’s Budget project, the building received an updated facade.
