In early November, residents of the Vladimir region will be able to take part in the XI International educational campaign “Big Ethnographic Dictation”
In early November, residents of the Vladimir region will be able to take part in the XI International educational campaign “Big Ethnographic Dictation”. It will last from 3 to 12 November and will be devoted to the culture and traditions of the peoples of Russia.
The organizer is the Federal Agency for Nationalities Affairs with the assistance of the regional Ministry of Internal Policy. Participants will be offered to answer 30 questions of the national topic in 45 minutes. The maximum result is 100 points.
As noted by the Minister of internal policy of the Vladimir region Tatiana Adulova, the action acquires special importance in the Year of unity of peoples. It also contributes to the preservation of historical memory, a topic repeatedly raised by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
For the representative of the organization “Kurultai Bashkir” Liana Akhmetshina, participation in the dictation has become a family tradition. She has been joining the campaign since 2017 and notes that the preparation for testing helps children to better understand the cultural diversity of the country.
The results of the action are planned to be summed up on December 12, the Constitution Day of the Russian Federation.
