The building of the post station in the village of Kaskovo put up for auction

The postal station in Kaskovo Volosovo district is waiting for a new owner. This was reported by the press service of the regional committee for the preservation of cultural heritage and published a photo of how this building could look after restoration.

The object of cultural heritage of federal significance is put up for auction by the Museum Agency of the Leningrad Region. The starting price is 2 thousand rubles.

The price is symbolic as the region seeks to attract investors willing to save the monument. They are immediately warned that this will require considerable effort and resources. The building is in unsatisfactory condition. But after restoration, the building can become a store, a mini-hotel, a travel agency or some other object of the service sector.

The postal station on the 49th kilometer of Tallinn Highway was built in the early 19th century. The complex included the main building, the caretaker's housing, stables, a carriage shed and other buildings.

Characteristics of the objects: a building with an area of 1,577 square meters, a land plot of 8,834 square meters.

Applications for participation in the auction are accepted until 11:00 on November 13. Bidding will take place at 11:00 on November 17. More detailed auction documentation is available on the website and in the official communities of the Committee for the Preservation of the Cultural Heritage of the Leningrad Region.
