In Russia, the number of companies engaged in the delivery of food for takeaway is growing
As of September this year, there were 2,198 catering companies in Russia, while the number of organizations specializing in takeaway food delivery reached 8,459. This is stated in the study of the SME Corporation. According to him, over the year the number of such enterprises increased by 24% and 21%, respectively. The document specifies that other food segments are growing more slowly. For example, the number of restaurants during this time grew by only 16% to 32,723 establishments, and coffee shops - by 3% to 10,160. At the same time, according to the study, the company’s analysts did not take into account enterprises with OKVED 56.1 Restaurant Activities and Food Delivery Services, since it does not allow to determine the specific format of the enterprise.
