Labor guarantees have Vologda residents raising children

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection reminded that workers with children under three years old have a number of guarantees. The measures are aimed at helping Vologda residents who are ready to combine work and childcare without losing income.

At the request of the employee, you can get leave to care for a child up to three years. You can work part-time and work from home. It is also possible to transfer to another job with the preservation of average earnings until the child reaches the age of one and a half.

In addition, the employer may not involve such employees in overtime work at night, weekends, holidays, send on business trips. This can be done only with the written consent of the citizen, in the absence of medical indications.

An employer may not terminate an employment contract with a woman who has a child under three years of age. Exceptions are gross violations of labor duties by the employee, liquidation of the organization.
