18-year-old Archangelogorodnik accused of calling for extremism

Investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Arkhangelsk region and the NAO completed the investigation of the criminal case against an 18-year-old resident of Arkhangelsk. He is accused under Part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls for extremist activities using the Internet). This was reported by the press service of the department.

According to the investigation, the accused created a public community in open access on social networks, where he posted a photo with a public call for extremist activities against a group of people of one of the nationalities.

The criminal case was initiated on the basis of materials submitted by the RUFSB of Russia in the Arkhangelsk region. The young man pleaded guilty.

The criminal case with the indictment approved by the prosecutor was sent to the court.
