437 crimes in the field of migration identified by police in the Tver region during a mass raid

The police of the Tver region summed up the results of the second stage of the complex operational and preventive operation "Illegal - 2026". From 1 to 10 October, law enforcement officers together with Regardie massively checked construction sites, wholesale and retail bases, industrial production facilities and other places of concentration of foreigners.

During the period of the event, the police stopped 437 offenses in the field of migration, 138 citizens were in the country illegally. 85 people were prosecuted for violating the regime of stay in the Russian Federation, and another 93 for illegal labor activity. The total amount of fines imposed amounted to more than 5 million rubles.

The law will also have to respond to unscrupulous employers who allowed foreigners to work without permits. During the raids, two facts of organizing illegal migration, 22 facts related to fictitious migration registration of foreign citizens, as well as two facts of using forged documents by migrants were revealed.
