47-year-old thief in Wroclaw stole a delivery van and staged a chase with police

A 47-year-old thief in Wroclaw, on Novoveyskaya Street, on Wednesday, October 14, stole a courier's work van, taking advantage of his inattention.

The next day, officers of the special police unit investigating the thefts found the stolen car.

The suspect tried to escape when they tried to detain him on Dluga Street, which provoked the chase.

Two patrol cars with no external markings and a vehicle of a random traffic participant were damaged during the chase.

A citizen of Wroclaw, who is under arrest, has 47 years.

The prosecution intends to charge him with theft of a car, obstruction of police detention and violence against a law enforcement officer.

A man can face up to 10 years in prison.
