Resident Yanino told how the suburb survived a day without electricity

The power outage in Yanino turned the life of the local population into a real test of strength. About how these days passed in conditions of complete darkness, lack of communication and closed shops, said one of the Yanina.

“Yesterday night began to rumble. I myself did not hear the roar, I woke up because of the cat - she was excited by what was happening. It was very dark outside, there was no light in the whole area. Not in the apartment or on the streets, the interviewee recalled.

The situation did not improve this morning. To the lack of light added information hunger: along with electricity completely lost mobile communication. People could not call their loved ones or get the news.

Communication in Janino began to appear only by 14:00-15:00. Electricity to the house began to return late at night.

Recall that the substation “Vostochnaya” recorded minor damage – mainly it affected the wires passing inside the object. At the same time, transformers and main power equipment continued to operate normally.

To quickly solve the problem in the urban village of Yanino, specialists promptly used backup power sources, which allowed to quickly power two-thirds of residents according to a permanent scheme, as well as launch a local boiler room to restore heat supply to residential buildings.
