Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport will reopen two terminals on Sunday, two weeks after a Houthi missile strike. This was reported by the airport administration.
The first terminal will serve domestic flights and the second will serve international flights of Saudi Arabia’s national airlines. The airport was suspended after the October 10 strike, which reportedly killed 13 people and injured more than 300.
Amid preparations for the resumption of work, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saria again warned international, regional and local airlines, as well as their employees and passengers, about the dangers of flying through the airport. He said the air harbor remained a military target.
Saria also blamed Saudi Arabia for the possible consequences of the airport’s operation in the face of military confrontation. The airport administration did not provide additional details about security measures before the opening of the terminals.
