Bastrykin requested a report on a woman who shot a friend in Novgorod

The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin was interested in the case of the death of a man from a shot in the head in the Novgorod region. This was reported in the SU TFR in the Novgorod region.

The Malovishersky district court sentenced a 41-year-old resident of Tosno. According to the investigation, she, along with three men, went to a sand quarry near the village of Gary in the Malowvisher district. The company decided to take turns shooting from a hunting rifle. When the gun fell into the hands of the woman, she shot and hit one of the men in the head. The wound was fatal.

The company tried to hide the body. She took the deceased by boat across the river Mstu, and then reached the forest and buried in the ground.

The convict claimed that she aimed at a target and hit a person by accident. However, the investigation insisted that the woman saw where she was aiming, and did so intentionally. Initially, the criminal case was investigated under Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder), but the court reclassified the charge of causing death by negligence.

Relatives of the deceased did not agree with the sentence, considering the punishment too lenient.
