More than 350 kg of red sturgeon found in the trunk of a resident of Dagestan

Traffic police officers found 346 kilograms of red sturgeon in the trunk of a resident of Kizlyarsky district, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic.

On the highway "Astrakhan - Makhachkala" employees of the DPS Spetsrota tried to stop the "Niva". The driver ignored the demand and tried to escape, during the pursuit he repeatedly encountered a patrol car. At the same time, the driver of Lada Granta, who was traveling nearby, obstructed the pursuit, blocking the path of the service car.

Both cars were stopped. During the inspection of the "Niva" in the trunk found 346 kilograms of sturgeon fish.

The issue of initiating a criminal case on illegal trafficking of especially valuable aquatic biological resources (258.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and on the fact of dangerous actions on the road (267.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) is being resolved.
