Man killed after ship collision on Teletskoye Lake
Late in the evening on October 14, two ships collided in the Turochak district of the Altai Republic on Teletskoye Lake. As a result, the driver of one of them died. The prosecutor's office is conducting an inspection.
It was previously established that at about 22:00 in the water area of Lake Teletskoye near the village of Yaylu, a small vessel and a barge-tug train collided. As a result, the driver of the small vessel died.
The causes and circumstances of the incident are currently being established. The Transport Prosecutor's Office is conducting an inspection.
According to the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor’s Office, the department organized supervisory measures for the implementation of legislation on the safety of inland water transport operation.
