As reported “MK” in the Ministry of health of the Moscow region, the woman entered the reception department of the Pushkin hospital with complaints of a severed finger. During the examination, the doctors found that the tissues of the severed limb can still be saved, and urgently sent the patient for surgery.

As the surgeon-traumatologist Alexander Pervukhin explained, under the operating microscope, the finger was actually reassembled: they compared the bones, sewed the tendons and, most importantly, restored the smallest blood vessels and nerve fibers with a diameter of a fraction of a millimeter.

Currently, the woman’s condition is assessed as stable. After 6 days, the finger stuck and began to move again. The gardener will have to undergo rehabilitation.
