The movement of trains between Minsk and Orsha disrupted due to the fall of the crane on the tracks

On October 19, 2026, an emergency occurred at the Kolodishchi – Gorodishche railway section: during construction and installation works carried out by a third-party organization, a crane overturned on the way. As a result of the incident, the contact network was damaged. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties. This was reported in the press service of BJD.
Due to the damage, the Belarusian Railway was forced to temporarily stop traffic on this section. Recovery teams with special equipment were sent to the scene.
As a result, the train schedule is lost. Trains following the routes Minsk – Orsha and Orsha – Minsk will arrive at their destinations late. In addition, some flights of regional economy class lines were completely canceled. BZD is taking all possible measures to eliminate the consequences as soon as possible and return to the staffing table.
