Two men swept into the sea by a strong storm near Tuapse, they died

On the beach in Agoe the day before there was a tragedy — two men went into the sea during a strong storm and died. Rescuers are now searching for their bodies.

The incident was reported to the rescue service on October 19 at 16:45. Due to the powerful waves, it was impossible to move along the shore, so rescuers had to climb the cliff. As the head of the Tuapse emergency rescue squad Maxim Topolsky said, the bodies appeared, then hid in the raging waves, and in the area of the Mushiny burrows finally disappeared from view.

Search work lasted until 20:30, and in the morning rescuers again examined the coastline – passed from Agoy to Tuapse, but to find the bodies of the dead man and failed. The search will go further - their course will be adjusted taking into account the weather and the state of the waves at sea.

Eyewitnesses who were on the beach on the day of the tragedy suggest that the men may have been intoxicated. However, officially this version has not yet been confirmed, reports “Tuapsinskie Vesti”.
