Smoke from fires in China covered the Khabarovsk Territory

In Khabarovsk and southern regions of the Khabarovsk Territory, smoke is observed, accompanied by deterioration of visibility and the smell of burning. In the regional Department of EMERCOM of Russia reported that the reason was the movement of air flows from the territory of China.

According to the agency, the air masses come from the neighboring People's Republic of China, where satellite Earth monitoring systems have detected temperature anomalies characteristic of possible fires.

As specified in the Ministry of Emergency Situations, thermal anomalies were recorded in the area between the cities of Fujin and Hegan, located in the Chinese province of Heilongjiang. It is from there that the smoke that has reached Russian territories is supposedly spreading.

In Khabarovsk and in the south of the region, visibility has decreased noticeably, and a pronounced smell of burning remains in the air. According to the regional hydrometeorological center, in some areas the visibility range is only 1-2 kilometers.

In connection with smoke, residents are advised to go out as rarely as possible and limit the duration of stay in the open air. In the premises, it is advised to keep the windows and doors tightly closed, and to use wet fabric for additional humidification of the air.

In addition, experts recommend drinking more still water, green tea and fruit drinks. At the time of deterioration of air quality, you should abandon the use of alcohol, smoking, heavy food and intense physical exertion.

Earlier in the Yaroslavl region in the fire evacuated 20 residents.
