Former Deputy Director of the Belgorod Housing Fund received 8 years for a bribe

The former deputy director of the housing and communal services fund of the Belgorod region will go to the colony for eight years for a bribe. The court found that in December 2024 she received from the head of a commercial organization 2 million rubles.

For this, she helped the fund and the company to conclude 13 contracts for overhaul in high-rise buildings. Also, the company should be treated softer when accepting work.

The court found the woman guilty under Part 6 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Getting a bribe in an especially large amount”). She was sentenced to eight years in prison in a general regime penal colony, a fine of 6 million rubles, and six years of prohibition to hold certain positions.
