Because of the “short circuit” in the kindergarten Yasnogorsk evacuated 120 children

In Yasnogorsk, 120 children were evacuated from kindergarten No. 5 due to a conditional fire that arose as a result of a short circuit of the electrical wiring. This was the scenario of fire and tactical exercises, which were conducted by employees of the EMERCOM of Russia, told “MK in Tula” in the press service of the Ministry.

According to legend, the fire engulfed wooden structures in the room on the first floor. The area of the conditional fire was 30 square meters, there was a threat of spreading flames.

After receiving the signal of automatic fire alarm to the kindergarten sent the nearest units of fire protection. Before the arrival of rescuers, the staff of the institution evacuated 154 people, including 120 children, in three minutes. Arriving firefighters quickly discovered and eliminated the conditional fire.

During the exercises, rescuers and staff worked out joint actions during the fire, as well as checked the readiness of kindergarten workers for fire and other emergencies. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations conducted fire safety briefings for them.

Such trainings help to work out the order of actions in cases in places where there are many people at the same time, the press service of the department notes. The coordination of the work of staff and firefighters depends on how quickly you can cope with the fire and avoid dangerous consequences.

We will remind, earlier “MK in Tula” said that because of the fire in the dormitory on the street Puzakova in Tula evacuated 10 people. There were no casualties. At the site worked 11 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and four units of equipment. The fire was destroyed on an area of 15 square meters.
