Hooligan from Zaporozhye village will be responsible for insulting a police officer

A resident of the village Veseloye in the Zaporozhye region became a defendant in a criminal case: he is suspected of insulting a representative of the authorities (Article 319 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

According to the investigation, on the evening of September 22, 2026, a 44-year-old drunk man hooliganized in a store. When law enforcement officers arrived at the scene, he spoke rudely and obscenely to the police officer in the presence of witnesses. The suspect was arrested and taken to the police station.

Now investigators find out all the circumstances of the incident and collect evidence. For a crime under Art. 319 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, a fine of up to 40 thousand rubles, or mandatory work up to 360 hours, or correctional work for a period of up to a year.
