Kimovite Kleshnev fined for Nazi symbols in social network
Kimovsky district court fined a local resident 1.5 thousand rubles for placing Nazi symbols on his personal page in Vkontakte

The Kimovsky district court fined a local resident 1.5 thousand rubles for placing Nazi symbols on his personal page in Vkontakte. The prohibited images were in the public domain and were available to other Internet users, told “MK in Tula” in the joint press service of the courts and the local police.
As established by the court, the man surnamed Kleshnev published photos with the swastika, including in a stylized form, as well as with the symbol “black sun”. The violation was revealed by employees of the Center for Countering Extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Tula region.
The use and public display of Nazi symbols is prohibited by Russian law. Following the consideration of the case on October 19, 2026, the court found the man guilty under part 1 of article 20.3 of the administrative code of the Russian Federation. Taking into account mitigating circumstances, he was fined 1.5 thousand rubles.
The ruling has not yet entered into force. It can be appealed in accordance with the established procedure.
In August, MK in Tula reported on the prosecution of a 31-year-old Tula resident for publishing negative statements about the Russian Armed Forces and images with symbols of a neo-Nazi organization banned in the country. Two administrative protocols were drawn up on the man - on discrediting the Russian army and distributing extremist materials. In court, Tulyak admitted guilt and repented.
