Crimean paid his ex-wife 970 thousand rubles for the car
Bailiffs prompted a resident of Krasnoperekop district to pay his ex-wife a share of the cost of the jointly acquired car

The bailiffs prompted a resident of Krasnoperekop district to pay his ex-wife a share of the cost of the jointly acquired car. This was reported in the press service of the GUFSSP of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.
After the divorce, the former spouses could not agree on the division of Mercedes-Benz, and the court ordered the man to pay the woman half the cost of the car, which is 970 thousand rubles.
He did not voluntarily pay, so the bailiff of the branch in Krasnoperekopsk and Krasnoperekop district initiated enforcement proceedings, but the debtor ignored the legal requirements.
To encourage the man to fulfill his obligations, the bailiff arrested his bank accounts, imposed a ban on registration actions with the car, as well as with his apartment, land and house, and temporarily restricted travel abroad. The debt was never repaid by the debtor.
Then the bailiff called him for an appointment and warned him that if further evasion of the car will be arrested, evaluated and sold. Not wanting to lose the car, the man eventually found the necessary amount and paid the debt in full. The enforcement proceedings are completed with actual execution.
