Kursk “Rosatom Energosbyt” filed a lawsuit against “Gorvodokanal” for 16 million rubles

Kursk “Rosatom Energosbyt” through the court recovers from “Gorvodokanal” Zheleznogorsk debts and penalties.

The Arbitration Court of the Kursk Region accepted a statement of claim from Rosatom Energosbyt JSC. The company intends to recover from the municipal enterprise "Gorvodokanal" of the city of Zheleznogorsk debt for the delivered electricity, as well as penalties for late payment.

As follows from the materials of the case, there is an energy supply agreement between the parties. In August 2026, the resource-supplying organization supplied the enterprise with electricity worth more than 16 million rubles. However, the counterparty did not transfer funds for the resource consumed, resulting in a debt that has not been repaid so far.

In addition to the principal amount of the debt, the plaintiff calculated the penalty for breach of contract. Its size is 100 thousand rubles, the joint press service of the judicial system of the Kursk region told.

The lawsuit will begin on November 10, 2026.
