Kuryanka cheated the state on 1.3 million rubles on child benefits

The Prosecutor’s office of Solntsevo district of the Kursk region completed the procedure for approving the indictment in the case, the defendant of which is a local resident. The woman is accused of committing a crime under part 4 of article 159.2 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation. We are talking about fraudulent actions associated with the illegal receipt of social payments on an especially large scale.

According to the materials of the investigation, the mother, living in the territory of Solntsevo district, developed a scheme to increase the size of the monthly allowance, which is paid to families with children under 17 years. In order to receive higher payments, she issued a fictitious registration for herself and her minor children in another subject of the Federation, the prosecutor’s office of the Kursk region said.

The choice of the region was due to the fact that there is a much higher subsistence minimum, which affects the calculation of the amount of the benefit.

Using this illegal scheme, the woman for three years received social assistance in excess. As a result, the budget suffered damage in excess of 1.3 million rubles.

The criminal case has been sent to court.
