Magnetic swing for a week: how to survive a protracted geomagnetic storm on November 8

Earth fell into a solar trap: after a series of disturbances, the planet was covered by a new magnetic storm, which, according to scientists, will last almost a week.
The culprit of instability is a giant coronal hole on the Sun about a million kilometers in size. Due to its scale, the Earth’s magnetosphere will be “stormed” from 8 to 13-14 November.
On Sunday, November 8, the probability of a storm is estimated at 75%. A perturbation of the minimum level (G1) is expected when the planetary K-index can reach 5. Peak hours of activity: from 6:00 to 15:00 and from 21:00 to midnight. In some regions, for example in Khabarovsk, the geomagnetic background can reach 4 points. Scientists warn that if solar flares are added to the coronal hole, the storm could intensify to medium or even strong levels.
Meteo-dependent people may feel headaches, weakness, pressure surges, and decreased performance. Experts strongly recommend these days not to overload yourself, more often to be outdoors, drink more water and listen carefully to your condition.
