Employees of the capital organization were looking for contractors to transport goods and lost about 40 thousand BYN, the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti”.

According to the police of Minsk, the victims posted an announcement on the Internet about the search for the performer. Through the messenger, the “manager” of the company contacted them and offered the services of drivers. For persuasiveness, he sent a passport photo.

Representatives of the Minsk organization agreed on the terms of work in correspondence and transferred about 40 thousand BYN to another account. After that, the “manager” stopped communicating, deleted correspondence and blocked the customer.

A criminal case has been opened on this fact.

Police remind: do not transfer advance payment before receiving the order or performing services. When hiring a contractor, enter into a formal contract and require at least one face-to-face meeting with the employee.
