The Prosecutor’s office supported the charge in the criminal case against 48-year-old resident of Moscow

The prosecutor’s office supported the prosecution in a criminal case against a 48-year-old resident of Moscow. The court found him guilty of fraud on an especially large scale, committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy using official position.
As the investigation established, in 2017, two gas distribution organizations – from Novosibirsk and Mineralnye Vody – signed a contract for the construction of a medium-pressure distribution gas pipeline in the village of Zmeyka. From April to November 2017, the defendant, who actually managed the contractor, colluded with the deputy executive director of the gas company from Mineralnye Vody. Together, they signed a contract for the manufacture and installation of safety rail packages and the laying of the gas pipeline.
After the completion of the work, the accomplices organized the preparation and signing of acts of work performed with unreliable information about the volumes and materials used. As a result, the gas distribution company from Mineralnye Vody caused damage in the amount of over 18.5 million rubles.
The court appointed the man 3 years 6 months of imprisonment in a correctional colony of general regime. In addition, he is deprived of the right to engage in activities related to organizational, administrative and administrative functions in the field of maintenance and operation of gas distribution systems and construction of gas supply facilities for 1 year.
Earlier, a guilty verdict was issued against the accomplice.
