A man attacked a policeman who arrived on a call in the Russian region

In the Dolinsky district of the Sakhalin region, a 45-year-old local resident became involved in a criminal case after a conflict with a police officer. The man is suspected of using violence against a representative of the authorities, the regional department of the Investigative Committee reported.

The incident occurred on October 8, 2026 in the village of Bykov. The policeman came on call to the apartment of one of the houses on Shakhterskaya Street, where the suspect was.

According to preliminary data, the man did not want to be brought to administrative responsibility, and tried to interfere with the work of law enforcement. During the conflict, he kicked a police officer in the leg and fist in the shoulder, causing him physical pain.

Investigators opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 318 of the criminal code. Now all the circumstances of the incident are being established, evidence is being collected.
