In the Kalininsky district court considered a criminal case against a man accused of illegal acquisition without the purpose of selling a drug in a significant amount.

The press service of the judicial body told about the circumstances established by the court. A man in May 2026, having the intention to illegally acquire a drug in a significant amount without the purpose of selling it, illegally acquired a substance containing a synthetic drug weighing 0.58 grams. Immediately after the acquisition of the prohibited substance, the citizen was detained by police officers. The drug was removed from illegal trafficking.

The defendant in the court session agreed with the charge and declared remorse for what he did.

The court found him guilty of committing a crime under part 1 of article 228 of the criminal code and imposed a fine. Also, the convict was confiscated from the state mobile phone, which he used in the commission of the crime. The verdict was not appealed, entered into legal force.
