Man becomes victim after refusing intimate services

In the duty part of the police department for Novokuznetsk, a 50-year-old local resident applied for the theft of funds from his bank account. According to the agency, the man suffered property damage.

According to police, a few days before the incident, the man asked his 23-year-old son to find him a woman for sexual services. The young man registered his father on a specialized Internet resource, indicating his contact number, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kemerovo region - Kuzbass reports.

It is noted that soon on the phone Novokuznetsan received a call from an unknown woman who requested payment for services. After the transfer of funds, the interlocutor again contacted the man and demanded to increase the payment several times.

The victim decided to refuse services. In response, the caller asked him to name the code from the text message, which the man did. Immediately after that, he received a notification on his phone about an attempt to issue a large loan on his behalf, and a large amount was written off from his bank account. Fearing further losses, a resident of Novokuznetsk appealed to law enforcement agencies.

Police are now identifying the suspect. The investigator of the Novoilinsky police department opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”. The penalty under this article is imprisonment for up to six years.
