In the Kuban for 7.5 years sentenced a man to death beating a friend during a feast

The Assumption District Court has issued a verdict on the murder of a local resident.

In the dock was a 34-year-old resident of the village of Uspensky. The court found him guilty of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder).

The tragedy occurred on April 5, 2026. On that day, the defendant, along with his 46-year-old acquaintance, drank alcohol. At some point, a conflict broke out between the men - against the background of suddenly arising hostile relations, the situation became sharply heated.

According to the investigation, the defendant first struck the victim many punches on the head and torso. He then took a knife and stabbed them at least four times in the head and upper limbs. The man did not stop there: he knocked the acquaintance on the floor and inflicted at least ten more kicks on the head and torso. From his injuries, the victim died on the spot.

As a result, the defendant was sentenced to 7 years and 6 months of imprisonment in a correctional colony of strict regime. In addition, he will have to serve 6 months of restriction of freedom, the press service of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Krasnodar Territory reports.
