In Kurganinsk sentenced a young man who was silent about the terrorist attack on the railway tracks.

A local resident was found guilty of not reporting a terrorist act under Article 205.6 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and fined 60 thousand rubles. The sentence has already entered into force.

In October 2025, the young man agreed to go to Kurganinsk with three friends, unaware of their true intentions. When the company got to the railway ferry "Kurganaya - Koshehabl", the friends left the guy to wait, and they themselves engaged in a crime: set fire to the relay cabinet.

Returning, they showed him a video of the arson - so the guy reliably learned about the terrorist attack. However, guided by considerations of friendship, he did not report this to law enforcement agencies, the court established.

To get on the trail of criminals managed to employees of the FSB of Russia in the Krasnodar Territory. The operatives established the involvement of three residents of the Kurganinsky district in the arson attack - they are now being investigated in a criminal case. In the field of view of the security forces came the young man himself, who preferred to remain silent.

In the courtroom, the defendant fully admitted guilt and expressed sincere remorse. Given these circumstances, the court sentenced him to a fine, according to the joint press service of the courts of the Krasnodar Territory.
