On Moscow Avenue Voronezh water utility eliminates a communal accident

Due to repair work, the passage at the circular intersection from Zhukov Street in the direction of Moscow Avenue is closed. Drivers are asked to take these restrictions into account when choosing a route.

Employees of RVC-Voronezh on Thursday afternoon, October 22, began repairing the sewer with a diameter of 800 mm on Moscow Avenue. The damage was found under the road surface. The team installed equipment for pumping wastewater and began excavating the soil. The repair area was protected for the safety of residents.

At the same time, water disposal for citizens operates without restrictions.

The works are hampered by severe deterioration of the pipeline and the depth of its occurrence - five meters. Specialists use special equipment and observe additional safety measures.

The emergency recovery team installed a temporary pipeline 120 m long. This is what allows you not to limit the drainage of water for residents.

Last night, the crew pumped the drains out of the pit to continue its development. Officers were then able to reach the site of the damage. At the site involved 20 specialists and 10 units of special equipment.

Earlier it was reported that after a large-scale water outage on the right bank of Voronezh, the water utility resumed water supply.
