In Stavropol opened a case of fraud in the supply of equipment for the electronic plant

The police are investigating a criminal case of fraud on an especially large scale, reported in the regional GU MIA.

The defendants are an individual entrepreneur from Moscow, deputy general director - director for production of one of the largest plants of the radio electronic complex in Stavropol and former first deputy general director of the same enterprise.

According to the investigation, the businessman entered into a conspiracy with two defendants and unidentified persons from among the companies and employees of the plant controlled by him. The goal was to steal budget funds in the supply of measuring equipment.

For this purpose, fictitious commercial offers with an inflated cost of equipment were made on behalf of six companies affiliated with the entrepreneur. On their basis, the employees of the enterprise formed the initial (maximum) price of contracts that does not correspond to the real market value.

The equipment was eventually delivered, and from the settlement account of the enterprise, about 424 million rubles were transferred to the account of a commercial organization. More than 150 million of them are the difference between inflated and real value, which the participants of the scheme stole and spent at their discretion.

The investigation is ongoing. Investigators establish all the circumstances of the incident and the persons involved in the crime.
