In Saratov, a 49-year-old local resident appealed to the police department with a statement about the disappearance of a cell phone.

According to the man, in August, he left the gadget on the territory of the recreation center, located on the 6th Samoilovsky impasse. Returning for the device, the applicant did not find it in its original place. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Saratov region.

Law enforcement officers identified and detained the suspect - a 34-year-old previously unconvicted resident of the village of Solnechny. The man confessed to the deed and explained that he sold the found phone to the commission store. A criminal case has been opened on this fact.

Earlier, fraudsters lured from a pensioner from the Penza region almost half a million rubles. An unknown man promised her compensation for previously purchased medicines - the amount was to be 3 million 300 thousand rubles.
