New sports ground in Yoshkar-Ola not handed over due to contractor

Construction of a modern sports zone in Yoshkar-Ola Central Park has stalled. The base of the site has already been laid, but the installation of equipment “hangs”. The culprit of the delay was the Krasnodar company Vekdam LLC, which previously won the municipal auction.

The customer rejected the first batch of inventory due to non-compliance with the technical task. When another batch was delivered to the facility, the workers never showed up, grossly violating the deadlines for the work.

Without waiting for mercy from the executor, the municipality unilaterally terminated the agreement. The case materials were transferred to the Mari UFAS. The Antimonopoly Service recognized the company as a violator and entered it in the register of unfair suppliers. This means that the organization is closed the way to any budget tenders for the next two years.

Now the city administration is preparing documentation for the announcement of new bidding.
