A 34-year-old resident of Novosibirsk, who is accused of illegally transferring money to the account of a foreign legal entity, will appear in court. This was reported in the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the inquiry, in March 2025, the man transferred 1.3 million yen to a foreign company. According to the assessment given in the case materials, the amount is equivalent to about 717 thousand rubles.
The basis for the payment indicated the contract of sale of the car. However, the check showed that the defendant did not actually purchase the vehicle, and the recipient of the money was not its owner.
During the operation, the man handed over to the bank documents containing knowingly false information about the grounds and purpose of the transfer.
The transport prosecutor's office approved the indictment under part 1 of article 193.1 of the criminal code. This provision provides for liability for illegal currency transactions using documents containing knowingly false information.
